The Eighth Infantry Patch was worn from April 1919 to 1992.

The Eighth Division was organized in January 1918 at Camp Fremont, California. The nickname of the division, "Pathfinder," is represented by the arrow while the figure "8" identifies the division's designation.

Campaigns: World War I, World War II.

Decorations: Luxemburg Croix de Guerre.
