5th Corps Patch
The 5th Corps Patch worn from 3 Dec 1918 to Present.
The V Corps was organized in July of 1918 in the Regular Army at Remiremont, France. The pentagon represents the number of corps, while white and blue are the colors of the corps' flags. The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 3 Dec 1918.
