Alaskan Air Command Patch
The Alaskan Air Command (AAC) was set up to provide an early warning of an aerial attack on the United States or Canada. The system was activated on December 21, 1945. The AAC was headquartered at Davis Air Force Base on the island of Adak, Alaska. The headquarters later moved to Elmendorf Air Force Base, which is adjacent to Anchorage.
Our U.S. Air Force Alaskan Air Command patch is a regulation, full color, embroidered military patch. This is the same patch that is supplied to the U.S. Air Force and sold in the Air Force Base Exchanges. This patch would be a great gift idea and a wonderful addition to your patch collection.
