Worn: 19 March 1942 - Mid 1950's.
The ultramarine blue disk represents the sky. The white star with red disk is the symbol of the Army Air Forces and the golden wings up stretched from a "V" symbolizing victory.
Our U.S. Army Air Corps patch is a full color, embroidered reproduction of the WWII military patch. This is the same patch available at Retail Specialty Stores and sold in Air Force Post Exchanges. This patch would be a great gift idea and a wonderful addition to your patch collection.
