French Fourragere Shoulder Cord
The French Fourragere shoulder cord is awarded by the French government when a unit has been citied twice for the French Cross of War (Croix de Guerre). The award of the fourragere is not automatic but must be by specific decree of the French government. The French fourragere may be worn when authorized for either pernament or temporary wear.
The fourragere is worn over the left shoulder of the Army dress and full dress uniform. The cord goes under the arm and attaches to a regulation small U.S. Army button attached to the shoulder seam 1/2 inch outside the left collar edge.
Our Regulation French Fourragere Shoulder Cord is the same cord supplied by the U.S. Army and sold in U.S. Army Base Exchanges.
