97th Infantry Division Patch

Blue and white arerepresentative of infantry, the unit's former designation; they also symbolize the blue lakes and white mountains of the area; Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire, where the division was organized after World War I. The prongs of the trident also allude to Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire.
