GHQ Purple Regulation Military Patch
Worn: 19 July 1946 - early 1950's.
The patch features a purple waving flag and the letters "GHQ," representing the unit's designation. The General Headquarters (GHQ) unit was first established in 1942, to defend Allied Operations in the Pacific. They also supported the Indian Theater of Operations. The unit requested to change the patch from wartime blue to purple
Our U.S. Army GHQ-Purple patch is a regulation, full color, embroidered military patch. This is the same patch that is supplied to the U.S. Army, Army National Guard, Army Reserve units, and sold in the Army Post Exchanges. This patch would be a great gift idea and a wonderful addition to your patch collection.
